There are people in the business world that genuinely hate their own professions. It was a distinct pleasure for this writer to sit down and interview an individual who clearly is in love with her chosen field. That individual Is Jane Lowers.
Jane originally obtained her cosmetology Licenses in West Virginia in the early 80’s. She moved to Georgia and worked in the corporate world for several years before returning to the beauty industry over 13 years ago. Attending every educational class available.
One of the main reasons for Jane’s success is her belief that a stylist needs to stay current, she says education is the key in any profession but even more importantly in the beauty business.
As a matter of fact, after doing a lot of research of several different brands Jane has just become certified in the new Brazilian Straighter called Keratin Complex Hair Therapy by Coppola. This is the newest application for straightening curly, frizzy hair Jane says the new trend in hair color is tri-color hair, hair that is multi tonal like that of a child. And big bouncy curls like that of Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood or Jennifer Lopez. Jane is always reading magazines, watching TV, attending product knowledge, and color/cutting classes to keep current for her clients.
Jane is a certified color specialist in Keune and Schwarzkopf. It makes sense that since she has done most of her training in these 2 color lines, these are her personal favorites, she uses them exclusively. Call and make your appointment today.
